Don’t let robbers in through Facebook

The Montreal Police Department (SPVM) recommends that you do not announce your vacation dates on social media. The police and insurance companies, who are increasingly concerned about this phenomenon, warn that letting people know through Facebook when you’ll be away is an open invitation to robbers.
